DAVID¹ GIBBS was born August 28, 1845 in London, England and died August 25, 1919 in Forest County, WI.

He immigrated from London England to New York City in 1870, and worked there at first as a laborer. He movied to Manistee

Town, in Manistee County, Michigan by 1875 and lived there until after 1897. He relocated his family to Crandon Town in

Forest County, Wisconsin where he bought land which he farmed for the rest of his life. He died on August 25, 1919 and is

buried in nearby Argonne, Forest Co., WI.

He married PAMELIA (Millie P.) __?__ ca. 1874 probably in New York. She was born in June 1853, and the first of their eight

children was born in Michigan in 1875.
